Costly break

Hi, this is just a continuation of my last Friday blog, Bench. As I mentioned, I got stuck up in my project delivery for past few months. I could not even spend enough time with my family members. I had missed our anniversary celebrations and my kid's birthday. I really felt very bad, because of this. I and my family desperately need a good weekend break. So, I had planned to take them for a trip. I thought of going to London, as I liked the place a lot. So far, that is my favorite overseas destination. London was not only liked by me, it is the favorite spot for my entire family too. We went there six years before. I had planned to be there on this New Year eve. Though it is going to be a very costly affair to spend my New Year party in London, I am least bother about money. What all I want is to see the happiness of my family members. Money is not a big deal for me.

Bench

After 6 months of heavy duty project days, I am finally at bench. Past six months, it was really very hectic. It was a very  critical project, to one of our very reputed, prestigious client. So our senior management set us on fire. Due to recovery in economy, we faced few employee attrition problems too. One of our competitors
started to lure our employees with better package and joining bonus. Due to this issue we could not complete the project in time. Last 90 days, we worked day and night to complete the project. I did not even
spend enough time with my family. I was just behaving like a person who is staying in a room in north cornwall cottages, who was just using his room for few hours sleep and then be out rest of the time.Though my project managers are very happy with my performance and on the successful closure of the project, my wife and children are really very angry with me.
